This page explains how profiles in the archive are created and what the numbers do — and do not — mean.

Consistent, structured fields

Every profile uses the same schema: identity, classification, capacity, heating, dimensions, materials, construction, features, climate suitability and editorial notes. Because the fields are consistent, very different saunas can be compared on equal terms.

Reference ranges, not engineering values

Footprints, internal volumes, ceiling heights and heater classes are approximate reference ranges for preliminary planning and comparison. They are derived from typical relationships between volume, glazing and insulation — not from a specific engineered design.

How heater classes are estimated

The approximate kW range for electric profiles is estimated from interior volume, glazing level and insulation class. It is a starting point only. Final heater selection must follow the heater manufacturer’s sizing instructions and local electrical or fire-code requirements.

Each profile uses a single reference image that illustrates the general sauna type and visual direction. It is not a photograph of the specific configuration described.

What we do not do

• No prices, ratings, reviews or sales.
• No claims that a profile is a real, built structure by a named company.
• No fictional architects, engineers or certifications.
• No “updated on” dates — we show only the date a profile was added.

This catalogue profile is intended for preliminary planning and comparison. Final dimensions, structural design, heater selection, electrical work and safety clearances must be confirmed by qualified professionals and the relevant manufacturer documentation.
